Seventy two

Following Christ is risky. Messy. Sometimes dangerous. It means going into places you might not normally go loving people you wouldn’t normally love losing everything for the sake of Jesus Christ.

When Jesus walked the earth, there was a time (Luke 10) when he gathered 72 of his closest followers and sent them out into the world to love and care for the world like he did. We believe God calls on us to live that same way today. We seek to humbly follow Jesus in everything we do as we learn to see people through His eyes, and as we respond to our hurting world with the outrageous generosity that comes from knowing Him. Just like the “original 72”, God enlists us to love and serve the world for Him.
