This is my first foray into the world of blogging, so here goes . . . (Thanks, Spencer, for setting me up here). What I'm loving about planting a new church is that God is stretching me in SO many new ways. Any time we're in a "comfortable" place, we tend to rely on our own wisdom/experience/expertise to get things done. But, when you're venturing into new territory, that's when the white knuckle, exhilerating, cling to God type of stuff seems to happen.
Lifebridge church is a church plant started by a few people who are trying to pursue Christ as best they can in a town outside of Houston called Cypress. They hope to not be like the Pharisees of our day, but follow Christ and love Him with their whole heart. Michael Meissner is the pastor at Lifebridge, and this is the blog he writes in. Read more...
